Founded in the Cayman Islands in 2012, The Seely Energy Group has grown into a full lifecycle renewable energy company. Today our teams develop, install, maintain, repair, upgrade and manage clean energy infrastructure across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
Our clients include national governments, regulated utilities, independent power producers, infrastructure funds and private sector industrial partners, many of whom have worked with us for over a decade.

Michael Seely is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Seely Energy Group, an international renewable energy and infrastructure company focused on advancing reliable, sustainable energy solutions through engineering, innovation, and long-term project partnerships.
A veteran business leader and energy industry executive, Michael founded The Seely Energy Group in 2012 in the Cayman Islands, initially establishing the company’s operations in Austin, Texas. From its early beginnings, he built the organization around a simple principle: combining technical expertise, disciplined project management, and dependable service to deliver renewable-energy infrastructure that performs for decades.
Under his leadership, The Seely Energy Group has developed capabilities spanning wind energy, solar power, turbine installation and maintenance, engineering and construction, asset management, infrastructure modernization, and operations and maintenance. Michael has guided the company’s expansion into international markets while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety, operational excellence, environmental responsibility, and lasting relationships with clients and partners.
Throughout his career, Michael has remained closely involved in the strategic and operational side of the business, working across complex energy projects and helping organizations navigate the technical, commercial, and logistical challenges associated with renewable infrastructure.
His vision for The Seely Energy Group is centered on building a stronger energy future; one where proven engineering, emerging technologies, and responsible development work together to create clean energy solutions for communities, businesses, and governments around the world.
